Who We Are

  • We make it easy for adults to meet other adults.

The Masterplanned Meetup is thoughtfully designed to create natural connection in refined, comfortable settings. Our events are relaxed but well-planned, allowing conversations to unfold organically and relationships to form without effort or expectation.

You arrive, settle in, have fun, and connect — often leaving with familiar faces, new names, and plans already forming.

    Our approach is simple:

    • Host curated, lifestyle-driven events within master-planned communities

    • Create welcoming environments that feel both elevated and approachable

    • Encourage genuine connection through shared space and experience

    • Let the setting and structure support connection naturally

We believe proximity should lead to friendship — and with the right environment, it does.

  • Authenticity over performance
You don’t have to be “on.” You just have to show up.

    Community over cliques
    Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs.

    Connection over networking
This isn’t about business cards. It’s about real friendships.

    Ease over effort
We remove the friction so you don’t have to manufacture conversation.

    Belonging over attendance
You don’t just come to an event. You leave feeling like you’re part of something.

  • The Masterplanned Meetup started with a simple observation:

You can live in a beautiful neighborhood, wave to the same people every day, and still not actually know anyone.

Life in master-planned communities can quietly fall into routine — school drop-offs, workdays, soccer practices, grocery runs — all happening alongside hundreds of neighbors you’ve never really met.

We realized the problem wasn’t that people didn’t want friends.

It’s that no one had made it easy.

    So we did.

We created a space where adults could step out of their routine, show up with intention, and connect with the people who live just minutes away. A place where conversation happens naturally, friendships form without effort, and community feels real again.

What began as a small idea quickly turned into something people didn’t know they were missing — and now, it’s a growing movement bringing neighbors together across communities.

Because where you live should feel like more than an address.

    It should feel like belonging.

Meet the Founder

Katie Jones founded The Masterplanned Meetup with a simple goal: to make it easier for adults to meet, mingle, and form real friendships beyond the rhythm of their own neighborhoods.

Seeing how life in master-planned communities can quietly fall into routine, she set out to create a welcoming space where people could step out, connect naturally, and experience something new—together.
